The EMPOWER’s UAM team has participated in the WHO Collaborating Centres Regional Meeting: United Action for Better Health in Europe held Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd November 2021 between 10:00-14:30. Day one of the meeting involved presentations from WHO Executive Management and Heads of WHO Collaborating Centres, such as the UAM team one. Day two was mainly in working group session to discuss, brainstorm and ask questions live.
This meeting provided an opportunity to highlight the joint work being undertaken by WHO Collaborating Centres and WHO and, in preparation for this meeting, the Universidad Autónoma center prepared a poster that showcased this joint work.
WHO/Europe is organizing the first WHO Collaborating Centres Regional Meeting with the overall purpose of recognizing the work of the WHO collaborating centres (WHO CCs), strengthening their cooperation with WHO and ensuring that their full potential is realized.
